What We Offer
There’s something for everyone in the Groovy Little Movers programme
What You Say
Groovy Little Movers has been excellent for pupils’ cooperation, following instructions and listening for cues in music and movement. The exercises have developed their core strength and fitness.
The pupils had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Creative Arts Day Dance Sessions, and it was truly one of the most engaging and inspiring experiences they’ve had! The sessions were tailored to different groups, ensuring that everyone, no matter their age, ability, or background, felt included and valued.
As a Mum of 3, I have learnt so much from this workshop about communication and how important it is to make learning fun.
I’d heard fantastic reviews about Groovy Little Movers from colleagues, but seeing it firsthand made me truly appreciate the love and attention poured into every aspect the program. It was incredible to witness how much the children enjoy sessions, which is so evident in their engagement and outcomes.
The programme supports children’s development in every area of learning. Children build confidence, learn to follow instructions and use Makaton signs alongside language. They develop co-ordination and dance movement and have great fun. Everyone needs to observe a session to hear the laughter of the children whilst they are learning. It is priceless.
Children love their weekly Groovy Little Movers sessions, where they learn to follow
instructions, sing songs and move to music. These activities make a strong contribution to the
children’s physical development and enhance their self confidence and engagement.

This programme is especially impactful for our EAL pupils. Their limited language is hugely
developed by the cleverly written songs which reinforce the meaning and context of
vocabulary through the movement and actions. Their participation is wonderful to see and
they clearly love being part of a group experience.

The parent workshop was so helpful for me as my child is struggling with speech. I have lots of new ways now to communicate with him.
This is a fantastic programme to improve children’s listening skills and their ability to follow
instructions, attend and focus. It is highly adaptable for children with additional needs and
they make significant progress in personal, social and emotional development.

Everyone feels great and is fitter, healthier and much, much happier!
Groovy Wednesday is the children’s highlight of the week.
Attending the parent workshop gave me new ways to support my child’s learning and development at home.
